The department offers the full set of works and services on the complex quantitative
analysis of risk of social, economic, and environmental losses from landslides,
mudflows, avalanches, coastal erosion, karst, suffosion, earthquakes, tsunamis,
floods, surges, and other hazardous geological and hydrometeorological processes
and their synergetic combinations as related to the substantiation of investments,
construction projects, as well as schemes and projects of the engineering
protection of areas, buildings and constructions from the hazardous natural
and human-induced processes (HNHP), urban and land development planning, federal
and regional programs of the socio-
economic development of individual economic branches, cities, and subjects
of the Russian Federation.
disposes of the high-qualified staff - the authors of the original method
of assessing natural risk of various genesis and the related maps of risk
(the first one in Russia and CIS).
