The department provides instrument support to scientific
and practical developments. The staff comprises the designers of measuring and electronic equipment, constructors and
programmers experienced in carrying out significant scientific-research works and development works. The department
does the design of technical documentation and manufacturing of systems’ elements (sensing measuring devices, digital
measuring devices, information – measuring devices and
control complexes) with their further use in systems of environmental, seismic and geophysical monitoring.
Development of the electronic units is done based on the modern components with application of microprocessors and programmable logical integrated circuits.
MAIN DEVELOPMENTS
- Unified automatic equipment for Forecast and testing areas in seismically hazardous regions of Russia (Federal
target grand “Development of the federal seismic monitoring
and earthquake forecasting network in 1996-2000”, IEG
RAS, DB OT RAS).
- Hazardous geological processes monitoring system
for Russian – Turkey gas pipeline “Blue stream”-2002.
- Hazardous geological processes monitoring system
for Soligorsk ore mining and processing enterprise (Republic
of Belarus) – 2003.
- Groundwater level automatic-control system
assigned for continuous monitoring of hydro-geodynamic
fields at big territories – 2003.
- Topsides induced monitoring system for oil and gas
offshore platforms (Sakhalin II Project) – 2005-2006.
GENERAL ACHIVEMENTS
- Type approval certificate RU.C.34.004.A. No 13659
for information(measuring and controlling complexes based
on Unified automatic equipment has been issued according to
the decision of the Russian Federation State Committee on
standards and metrology. The complexes were included into
State register of measuring equipment No. 23981-02.
- Based on this design, the department has developed
and delivered Hazardous geological processes monitoring
system to such big industrial enterprises like Russian –
Turkey gas pipeline, Soligorsk ore mining and processing
enterprise (Republic of Belarus) and Topsides induced monitoring system for oil and gas offshore platforms.
- In 2004 Information(measuring systems department
took part in tender announced by Sakhalin Energy Inv. Co and
has been awarded with a contract on modeling of external
impacts induced to the oil and gas platforms and developing
of the Earthquake Detection Algorithm. In 2005 the
Department took part in the second tender by Sakhalin Energy and has been awarded with the Contract on
design, manufacturing and delivery of the Topsides
induced monitoring system for oil and gas offshore
platforms, sites Piltun – Astohskoe and Lunskoe,
Sakhalin II Project.
- Working for Sakhalin II Project the
Department has designed three&component
accelerometer (TCA). The accelerometer has
obtained Pattern approval after successful tests.
- The Federal service on ecological, technical
and nuclear supervision has issued permission for
use No PPC 00&19283 and Certificate of compliance
and Type approval certificate for Topsides induced
monitoring system for oil and gas offshore platforms.
- Topsides induced monitoring system for oil
and gas offshore platforms is now passing tests to
obtain Type approval certificate for the overall system.
